Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated person, with strong administration skills, to join our busy scanning team. The Scanning Bureau is integral in the digitalising of paper patient records in a timely way so as to ensure access to these notes by the wider organisation, and clinicians in particular, prior to patient appointments.

The role requires an eye for detail and good problem solving skills. 

Days of work will be Monday to Friday, no shift work is required. Hours of work will be between 6.00AM and 6.00PM. Actual hours and days will be discussed with the preferred applicant. 

The starting salary for this role is $57,291 per annum pro rata, based on skills and experience.

We are looking for a mature, highly motivated and collaborative team player with previous administration experience, a good level of computer literacy and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and patient confidentiality.  Experience in document scanning would be an advantage, but is not essential. 

Additionally you will have:

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact with clinical staff.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and meet the challenges of a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, prioritising your workload as required.
  • The ability to function well under pressure and meet tight timeframes. 

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
