  • We have rare part-time (20hrs pw) opportunity for you to take ownership of administrative responsibilities and supporting the Housing Support teams in the East Coast North Island region?

Te Whiwhinga mahi - Our Opportunity:

As an Administrator Housing Support, you'll play a key role in providing efficient and proactive administrative services to ensure our offices run smoothly. This could involve keeping our teams fully stocked with stationary, collating documents for tribunal matters, through to reporting and document storage/filing.

You'll be the first point of contact for customers visiting our office, and will deal with customer communications and queries, as well as providing internal administrative support and coordination across our local office.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Meet and greet customers or whānau when they arrive to the Kāinga Ora office.
  • Support the effective running of the site office/s including office facilities to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.
  • Complete a range of administrative activities critical to the support of site operations such as supporting planning and delivery of events, records management, printing, scanning etc.
  • Manage emails to the group mailboxes - to ensure a timely response (or escalation when needed).
  • Work alongside the Housing and Wellbeing Support Team to provide support in areas such as:
    • Contacting customers
    • Completing financial tasks (e.g., raise and amend purchase orders, receipt invoices and Flexipurchase administration as required)
    • Lodgement and management of mediation applications with MBIE including regular monitoring and maintenance of the Tenancy Tribunal tracking spreadsheet as required.
    • Assisting with preparation of sign-up documents
    • Scheduling customer meetings.
  • Capture and maintain customer records in a consistent and timely manner in the appropriate internal system, aligned to Kāinga Ora guidelines and standards.
  • Provide training and peer-support to other Administrators.
