We are looking for 5 permanent part time Cleaners to join our team here at Cleaning Services based at Auckland City Hospital.


This role requires valid New Zealand working rights (New Zealand Citizen / New Zealand Resident), and is unsuitable for overseas candidates.


Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation

We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are looking for cleaners to be available on a roster with the following shift patterns:

Saturday-Sunday:

This will be a 0.4FTE 0630-1500 and 1530-0000.

Please note your availability in the pre-screening questions. Shifts can be accommodated where possible, however we are a 24/7 healthcare provider and may require you to work outside your preferred times.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

To be successful in this role, you will:


·
have a good understanding of infection prevention

  ·
be generally fit to undertake physical aspects of the role 

         ·
be punctual and dependable

         ·
be able to answer phone to manage list of cleaning calls



The following are desired, but not essential as all training will be provided:


·
Unit standard achievements or certification for cleaning and/or customer services

·
Previous experience in commercial cleaning

Successful candidate will be trained on operation/set up of disinfection machinery are preferred so if you are open to learning new skills and gain new experience, we would love to hear from you.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $23.75
