Mō te tūnga | About the role
This exciting opportunity is a Clinical Administrator role that supports the Gastroenterology Department and is ideal for someone who is a team player and has a customer centric approach.
In this role you will provide Administration support, which includes transcription and dictation duties. You will also be involved in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as other ad hoc administrative tasks.
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 3/Profile 3

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
Our ideal candidate will bring:
- Clinical Administrator experience would be highly advantageous
- Experience in transcriptions would be very beneficial
- Knowledge of medical terminology (not essential)
- Data entry or typing skills (50 - 70 WPM)
- Great communication and relationship building skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word. Excel and Outlook
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience using a Patient Management System would be an advantage, however full training will be provided
- Attention to detail and accuracy
