About the Company:

We're a specialized provider of support for those with complex needs to live safely and independently within their home.

About the role:

The role involves supporting clients who have spinal cord and/or brain injuries. Depending on the client and the severity of their injury, you will be required to complete some or all these tasks:

  • Personal cares - bowel cares and catheter management
  • Complete stretches and transfers using hoists.
  • Household chores, meal preparation and medication administration
  • Transportation (using the client's vehicle)
  • Assisting the client with accessing community facilities, going shopping, meeting friends, and attending medical appointments

About you:

  • Right to work in New Zealand
  • Full NZ driver's license (without restrictions)
  • Own reliable transport
  • Must be able to work 5-7 days per week
  • Experience with bowel cares
  • Willing to work on the weekend
  • Willingness to study towards qualifications
  • Be able to start ASAP
