About:
We are seeking a skilled carpenter looking to make the next step in their career to join a growing and exciting organisation based in Wellington. The right candidate will have the necessary carpenter qualifications and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and moulding
- Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter is essential
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
