Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Join our Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate as a Team Administrator Blended (Specialist Outpatient service).Be part of Te Toka Tumai and help us with our mahi. Our team aspires to deliver optimum care and service to all our clients. It is a dynamic and busy environment, where no two days are the same. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing effective, efficient and accurate administration service to a range of clinical staff and managers and to provide support to the multi-disciplinary team members.
- Liaising with departments across the organisation, general practitioners, patients, relatives and visitors.
- Coordinating the purchasing of clinical and non-clinical supplies, preparation of meeting minutes and other support activity as needed and leading project initiatives.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- Secondary school qualifications in English and maths.
- Three years of secondary education or relevant work experience.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Experience dealing with members of the public
- Knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi with a commitment to biculturalism.
- Sound MS Office ability, including intermediate Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- At least 60 WPM typing speed
- Proficient use of health information systems (e.g., HCC, Concerto etc.) is an advantage
