Te Whatu Ora - Waitematā District is the largest district in New Zealand, serving a population of approximately 550,000 living in the North and West of Auckland, and is comprised of two sites with over 1000 beds as well as numerous satellite areas. Te Whatu Ora -Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) District serves a population of approximately 200,000 with 4 hospitals across the northern region.

There are around 9000 staff members who work for Waitematā and approximately 4000 working for Te Tai Tokerau, and we are looking for a person who is committed to providing skilled and empathetic injury management, rehabilitation assistance and advice to staff with an ACC claim and to their managers.

Reporting to the Occupational Health and Wellbeing District Manager you will be able to work independently, proactively but also collaboratively as part of a team which is there to support the health and safety of Waitematā and Te Tai Tokerau staff members. You must have previous ACC claims management experience and knowledge of the Accredited Employer Programme. You will take pride in providing excellent customer service to our staff and their managers and assistance that goes above and beyond expectation while working within the ACC framework. Time management and being able to prioritise is key.

Your communication and relationship building skills are exceptional and your positive attitude essential while having a proven ability to work with people from all walks of life.

This is a full time role working 80 hours per fortnight, and there is the potential for flexible working hours for the right candidate. We are open to receiving applications from those based in Waitematā or Te Tai Tokerau districts.
