About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Hostel Cleaner to join our team at Base Hospital in Taranaki, New Plymouth. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning the hostel and family guest units located on the hospital grounds. Your duties will include maintaining high standards of cleanliness in both common areas and individual rooms, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for staff and guests. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn on the job. While previous cleaning experience is advantageous, it is not essential. We value a strong work ethic and a dedication to maintaining a clean and welcoming space.

About you
You will be a dedicated and reliable Hostel Cleaner to join our team at Base Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the hospital’s hostel facilities. Your duties will include cleaning and sanitising common areas, restrooms, and dormitory rooms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and comfort for all residents. This is an important role that contributes to the overall well-being of patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a welcoming and hygienic space.
