- 6-month fixed term contract account management position – potential to extend and move into a permanent role.
- Auckland CBD
- OTE up to $100k | Salary up to $85k + kiwi saver
- Car allowance $12k FTE (pro-rata) and access to their sales incentive plan up to 18kpa (Pro Rata)
- Small office with a close-knit team of less than 10 people
- Support available from Auckland and Australia – head office and sales team based in Australia
We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Account Manager to join the New Zealand team of a medical device company. This role involves both nurturing existing client relationships and building new business.
A bit more about the role:
You will independently support key accounts and drive business growth in New Zealand with the support of the GM based in Australia. Despite being a small team in New Zealand (10 altogether made up of customer service and technicians) the company maintains strong relationships with key accounts and is eager to expand its presence
- Plan, prepare, and implement a sales strategy per account to maintain existing business and develop new business opportunities.
- Increase customer base and market presence by establishing relationships with key opinion leaders, key influencers, and decision-makers.
- Maintain a high-profile presence in the marketplace through creating win-win solutions that turn sales relationships into long-term business partnerships.
- Manage immediate post-purchase activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide clinical support activities such as in-servicing, installations, training, and education as required.
The general manager has been looking after this area of the business from Australia and is looking to bring someone in who can enhance their client service and build on the accounts they work with. Therefore, they are looking for someone with:
- Proven Sales and account management experience ideally within the medical field, the company will also look at medical staff wanting to move into a sales profession.
- Effective communication skills with healthcare professionals
- Ability to Work Independently - You will be based in New Zealand while the rest of the sales team is in Australia. This role requires someone who is self-driven and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and commercially adept
