Utilise your accounts and administration background in a support role based in Ellerslie. 3 month temp role with potential to extend. 40 hrs pr/wk

Mō te tūnga - About the role:

As an Accounts Administrator you'll be taking care of day-to-day financial transactions, providing admin and basic accounts support to the finance team. 
  
Key details include:
  • Based 100% IN office in Great South Road, Ellerslie
  • Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours
  • Approximately a 3-month assignment with potential to extend
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tikanga Māori, is desirable 
Day to day you may be:
  • Accurately processing and managing incoming invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Creating and matching purchase orders with corresponding invoices to ensure consistency.
  • Monitor and queue payments to guarantee they are processed on time.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders efficiently.
  • May be required occasionally (not often) to cover the Reception desk if their usual permanent staff are unable to (sickness or work overload or covering breaks)

  • Strong administrative background, preferably with accounts payable knowledge.
  • Proactive and adaptable by nature with exceptional organisational abilities.
