Mō te tūnga - About the role:
As an Accounts Administrator you'll be taking care of day-to-day financial transactions, providing admin and basic accounts support to the finance team.
Key details include:
- Based 100% IN office in Great South Road, Ellerslie
- Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours
- Approximately a 3-month assignment with potential to extend
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tikanga Māori, is desirable
- Accurately processing and managing incoming invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Creating and matching purchase orders with corresponding invoices to ensure consistency.
- Monitor and queue payments to guarantee they are processed on time.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders efficiently.
- May be required occasionally (not often) to cover the Reception desk if their usual permanent staff are unable to (sickness or work overload or covering breaks)
- Strong administrative background, preferably with accounts payable knowledge.
- Proactive and adaptable by nature with exceptional organisational abilities.
