Job Description

Our client based in East Tamaki is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable to hit the ground running as soon as possible. 

You will work as part of wider AP team of 5 reporting directly to the Finance Manager.  There is opportunity here for this role to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key duties will include:

  • Processing Vendor Journals 
  • New vendor set up and existing vendor maintenance 
  • Monitor and respond to supplier emails
  • Collating Supplier monthly Statements
  • Run Payments 
  • Supplier statement reconciliations

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong high-volume Accounts Payable experience (1000+ invoices per month)
  • Proficiency in large ERP software (Microsoft D365 experience advantageous).
  • Excel - V look-ups and pivot tables
  • Reconciliations experience
  • Data Entry High Volume - Speed and accuracy are essential
  • Good communication skills/telephone skills/negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
