About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and self-motivated AP superstar to take ownership of a sole-charge Accounts Payable function. You’ll be working closely with multiple stakeholders, including Project Managers, the Finance Manager, and other internal and external stakeholders. With up to two work-from-home days, this role offers flexibility and variety, with the potential to grow into broader accounting duties.
What You’ll Bring
To hit the ground running, you’ll need:
- Volume/Complex Transactional AP Experience – Proven experience managing high-volume and complex AP processes.
- ERP Expertise – Ideally, experience with large ERP systems (Dynamics preferred).
- End-to-End Payables Knowledge – Either a relevant accounting degree or hands-on experience in a complex AP environment.
- Industry Experience – Familiarity with AP in project, construction, or property environments is a big plus!
- Strong Excel skills – ideally you will be super comfortable with Vlook-ups and Pivot Tables
- Ownership & Accountability – You thrive in an independent role, managing your time effectively and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Strong Communication Skills – You’re confident engaging with Project Managers, keeping the Finance Manager informed, and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Quick Learner – With a history of stepping into new systems and processes with ease, you’re ready to take initiative and drive your own learning.
- Proactive & Detail-Oriented – You go above and beyond, taking pride in your work and ensuring AP processes run smoothly.
