About the Role

The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to the Nurse Unit Manager and staff within Perioperative Services. You will also assist with Theatre Schedules, Rosters and allocations and participate on ongoing professional development. The overall function of this position includes reception duties, clinic reception / file maintenance, data entry, and statistic collection.

About you

  • Sound general clerical experience
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Windows.
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment and an ability to work under pressure.
  • A willingness to employ a range of software applications effectively.
  • High-speed accurate typing with a minimum speed of 70 wpm.
  • A good understanding of medical terminology and human anatomy.
  • Confidentiality
