Location: Wellington Hospital
Service: Intensive Care Services
Contract: Permanent - Part-time 4 days per week - 20-24 hrs (negotiable)
Salary: $74,090 to $81,864 per annum, pro rata to hours worked (Band 5: Step 1-6)
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We require an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join the Administration Team in the Intensive Care Services. This is a part-time position responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the ICU. This department employs 300 staff who care for the dynamic health needs of critically ill patients and their whanau. We operate in an inclusive culture where staff enjoy coming to work and know that they are valued.
Some of your duties will include:
- Actively assist with managing administration systems and processes
- Assisting the HR Administrators
- Ward administrator support
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
Wellington Regional Hospital is the tertiary referral centre for the lower North Island and upper South Island of New Zealand. This gives the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) a catchment population of approximately 1,100,000 and a geographic radius of 300km. The ICU has responsibility for delivery of care outside of ICU through our Patient at Risk Service, Trauma Team and Flight Service.
Moū - About you
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with at least 3 years administration experience; who enjoys working in a busy team environment. You will have advanced level of Microsoft Office, an eye for detail as well as the ability to format written and numerical information effectively. Experience within the healthcare sector is not essential as long as you have the relevant transferrable skills. If you have excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with a willingness to assist others in a busy environment we encourage you to apply:

- Proven experience in an administration role is essential
