About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Administration Coordinator to join our team at the Hawke’s Bay Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC) service. This position will be based at Napier Health Centre.

In this role you will be supporting delivery of a range of services to the health and disability community of Hawke’s Bay by performing a wide range of administration and office support activities.

 

About the Team/Service/ Location

As Administration Coordinator you will be a key member of our highly professional, dynamic team. You will work alongside two other Administration support staff to ensure smooth running of services in a busy environment where all parties contribute positively to improving the health of the Hawke’s Bay community. A key component of this role is also the coordination of Fleet Vehicle Bookings at Napier Health Centre.

Located in the sunny Hawkes Bay we live in pure paradise. We are known for award-winning food, outstanding architecture, and warm balmy days surrounded by magnificent landscape.

 

About you

We are ideally looking for someone with several years’ experience in a busy role with high levels of competency in Microsoft Office and related functions. Your outstanding customer service skills will allow you to liaise with a wide range of people and your resilient nature welcomes daily challenges.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following,

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise your own workload as well as work as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • You will be required to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
