About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-orientated and organised team player to join our Health Records Service on a permanent part-time basis working 24 hours per week.  Hours are negotiable between Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm. 

Are you looking to bring your administration experience into a healthcare setting?  In this role you will be responsible for managing patient health records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. 

About the Team

The Health Records team is based across both Tauranga and Whakatane Hospital sites and this position is based at Whakatāne Hospital.

About you

  • Flexibility is key as tasks may vary
  • Physically fit as some heavy lifting is involved
  • Able to cope with a high demanding workload
  • Good computer skills
  • Proven experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
