Permanent Part-time (0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week)

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person with passion and commitment to join our team of five administrators at Te Ngako Adult Community Mental Health & Addictions Service (MHAS) in Rotorua. This role offers variety and a good level of challenge while working with a great team of passionate clinicians and administrators.

About the Role
Your role as Administrator at the front desk is at the forefront of all our client and visitors interactions to the community service. The successful person will be required to undertake duties associated with the administration of our service, primarily in the reception area. The role encompasses many different tasks with induction and training to assist in the development and enhancement of your skills and knowledge.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Te Ngako Adult Community Mental Health and Addictions Service is a busy hub of activity serving five specialty teams on site. Confidentiality, warmth and kindness is essential in this busy environment for both the staff and clients.

About you
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and who demonstrates a natural ability to make our clients and visitors feel at ease.
- Excellent customer service skills and a sense of humour
- Must be experienced in the administrative field, preferably in the health sector.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and adhere to deadlines
- A quick learner with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft packages, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook is required.
- Openly communicates and cooperates with all levels of employees.
- Professional and approachable demeanour, with the ability to resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
Salary range
$72,035 to $79,753 pro-rated to hours worked
