Contract: 12 months fixed-term, part time (32 hours per week)

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity based in our Gynaecology (Women - s Health) Outpatient Department and Fracture Clinic.
We are looking for someone to provide administration support across our Gynaecology and Colposcopy Outpatient Service and Fracture Clinic. In this role you will provide clerical support to assist with the effective running for the service (data collecting, quality/risk management, auditing and reporting) as well as answering patient enquiries, booking outpatient appointments and scheduling waitlists.
This role works between Monday - Friday and we are willing to negotiate the hours with the successful candidate. You can work the 32 hours across 4 or 5 days a week.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team working in a clinic environment. Outpatients covers various specialities including; Gynaecology, Surgical, Medical, Pre-assessment, ENT, Eyes and Orthopaedics. We have a happy supportive team who work together to achieve the best outcomes for our people and their families.
We have some exciting times ahead of us in Gynaecology Outpatients, with new initiatives in Women - s Health; including cervical screening and the colposcopy service
About you
As an excellent communicator, you will have a positive, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive approach that exudes confidence. You will be team focused and have an adaptable approach to your work.
It is important you have the ability to show sensitivity in different situations as you will be dealing with a wide range of people including members of the public and hospital staff. You will need to have an understanding of the Privacy Act.
In order to be successful in this role, you will also have:
- Knowledge and experience in an administration role - preferably in the health sector
- An ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple priorities
- Competence in using computers including Excel and Word
- An ability to quickly learn new web based clinical applications as required for the role
- A passion for working in Women - s Health and Gynaecology
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent cultural awareness and safety
- Resilience in a very busy environment
