About the Role

Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is seeking administration support for Women, Child and Family service.  This position is full-time, 12-month fixed term and is based at Tauranga Hospital. 

This position provides district wide administrative co-ordination, direction, and support to the Women, Child and Family (WCF) service, including Paediatric, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Midwifery services.  Attention to detail, a high level of initiative, good organisational and communication skills are key components in this role. 

The position requires you to work closely with consultants, therefore you will need to be comfortable building relationships with specialists and happy with open dialogue. 

About the Team/Service/Location

The team works Monday to Friday.  You will support all clinical and non-clinical staff within the service.  Being involved with service meetings, taking of minutes, providing rosters in a timely manner, providing access agreements and contracts for service and supporting payroll.  This is a varied role that requires a high level of attention to detail. 

This is an office-based role in Tauranga Hospital with travel within the district as the role requires.

  • Patient information systems and medical terminology knowledge
