About the Service

Rehabilitation Support is a collection of services transforming and integrating community services to prevent avoidable presentations to the emergency department and other emergent care services. The collection of services provides short term and long-term care management and restorative rehabilitation solutions.



About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic administrator to join our team in Hamilton.

This is an opportunity to showcase your attention to detail and accuracy while managing your tasks. You will have sound computer skills and the ability to multi-task.

Office hours are from Monday to Friday.



Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Accurate maintenance of health information systems and reporting systems.
  • Manage assigned tasks meeting required time frames.
  • Provide an efficient customer focused patient enquiry service by liaising with internal and external parties.
  • Support clients, service providers and clinical staff 
  • Attend to general queries and deal with conflict situations.



About you:

Skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for the role:

  • Excellent computer skills, with a good understanding of Microsoft packages including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Administration and telephone experience in a large customer focused organisation.
  • Evidence of following an analytical approach when executing decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and focus in a busy, energetic environment.
  • A working knowledge of the health sector is desirable.
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
