  • Napier Health Centre, Mental Health & Addictions Services
  • 80 hour’s per fortnight, (1.0 FTE)
  • Full-Time, Fixed Term 12 months

About the Role

If you’ve ever thought about an admin role in a healthcare setting then now’s your chance to get in! We’re looking for a skilled Administrator to work within the Hawke’s Bay DHB’s Mental Health and Addiction Service.

 

About the Team/Service/ Location

You will provide administration support to the Mental Health South team who provide mental health assessment, treatment and support services to adults with mental health and addiction issues within Hawke's Bay.

 

About you

You will also need the following key attributes and skills:

  • At least two year’s administration experience
  • High level of customer service
  • Use technology – Microsoft Office products – Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc. and other health related databases improve business operations and customer service.
  • Work in partnership with peers.
  • Model an effective partnering style within the Health Records Service, and collaborates with other team and key internal relationships within Health Services.
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
