Advisor Strategy
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We are looking for an Advisor to join the Strategy team at the Ministry of Justice National Office in Wellington. The team you will be joining provides trusted and evidence-driven advice that is future focused, sets our strategic direction, and improves justice outcomes for Aotearoa New Zealand.
We are responsible for ensuring the Ministry meets its strategy obligations. We do this by developing the Ministry's strategic documents and long-term strategic plans, as well as short-term business initiatives. We also have a role in supporting SLT to monitor the Ministry's strategy and shape the strategy into action.
You will be expected to contribute to the overall work programme of the team as well as be provided the opportunity to contribute to the wider Ātea ā Rangi – Strategy purpose.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience working at Advisor level or equivalent
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Relevant qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Team player attributes with the motivation to learn from others
- Be committed to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
