We have a permanent opportunity with one of NZ's largest privately owned farm machinery distributors.

Our client is one of New Zealand’s largest privately-owned farm machinery distributors. They have over 50 years’ experience, are based in numerous locations throughout New Zealand and enjoy dealing with our hard-working farming community.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join their busy and well-established company in their Hamilton branch.  They will also consider applications from those who have not long come out of an apprenticeship who wish to grow their career.

The role will require you to be responsible for:

• Service, repair and maintenance of agricultural vehicles and machinery in the workshop and call outs in the field 
• Identifying, diagnosing, repairing and managing faults
• Working with a great team of experienced staff

Essential skills required:

• Relevant trade qualification ideal 
• Minimum 2 years' industry experience particularly on agricultural equipment; will consider someone who has just finished their apprenticeship
• Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical circuits
• Current driver's licence
