As they continue to grow in the New Zealand market, they’re looking to expand their Auckland team and bring on board an Air Freight Manager in a newly created role.
About the Role:
As the Air Freight Manager, you’ll report directly to the NZ Operations Manager. Leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of air freight operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. Your role will encompass:
- Operational Oversight: Managing the end-to-end air freight process, including import and export operations, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
- Team Leadership: Guiding and mentoring team members to achieve individual and departmental targets, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring all operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies and preparing regular reports on performance metrics and financials.
About You:
You bring extensive experience in air freight operations, with a proven track record in managing teams and delivering exceptional service. Your deep understanding of the logistics industry is complemented by the following attributes:
- Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A strong commitment to understanding and meeting client needs, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
