A reputable NZ Kiwi sustainability organisation is looking to hire an Applications Specialist to join their small, but mighty, Platform Solutions Team.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll be providing support to Financial System users. With staff based across 70+ sites in NZ, you’ll play a vital role in keeping things running smoothly, while also contributing to projects.
This will suit a proactive individual who doesn’t shy away from a challenge and is confident in working with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Level 3 Support of the financial applications used by the Finance and Operations Teams. The service desk will escalate unresolved tickets to this role (also known as a Platform Specialist)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in design, development and optimisation of platforms
- Implement best practices in application support, ensuring compliance with security and data protection standards
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to ensure seamless operations
- Participate in business initiatives and project work, contributing your expertise to drive success
- Provide further escalation support for complex technical issues, working closely with vendors to reach resolution
- 5+ years' relevant application support experience in finance system support (JDE / SAP or similar ERP)
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment where everyone contributes across various tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Security awareness to ensure the safety and integrity of business systems
