Central Otago / Asphalt foreman 
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead and manage asphalt paving projects across Central Otago. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in asphalt operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. STMS certification is advantageous.

About the  Role :
  • Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, ensuring efficiency and high-quality work.
  • Oversee daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
  • Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate project records, timesheets, and job reports.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
About You : 
  • Proven experience as an Asphalt Foreman or similar leadership role in the asphalt/construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • STMS certification (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and project specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 2 or higher is an advantage)
