About the Role :
- Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, ensuring efficiency and high-quality work.
- Oversee daily operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity.
- Maintain accurate project records, timesheets, and job reports.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proven experience as an Asphalt Foreman or similar leadership role in the asphalt/construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
- STMS certification (preferred but not required).
- Ability to read and interpret plans and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 2 or higher is an advantage)
