Mō te tūnga - About the role

This Assistant Accountant position has come about as one of the team take on another position.  While they look to rescope the role, they require a temporary person to come in for 3 months potentially longer.  You will report directly into the Head of Finance and enjoy a busy and varied role 
You will be responsible for the following:

• Detailed analysis of key vendor accounts, capitalisation
• Maintenance of fixed assets
• Monthly depreciation
• Rebates calculated, prepared and accrued
• Monthly cost of sales analysis, accruals and relevant journals
• Monthly reporting
• Monthly capital WIP reports
• Support to management accountants and Finance Business Partners

He kōrero mōu - About you

You will be an experienced Assistant Accountant who is worked in a large organisation.  You will be highly motivated, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and strong technical accounting support experience.  Previous experience on SAP or another larger system would be ideal and intermediate to advanced excel skills.  Only candidates currently living in New Zealand with valid work rights will be considered.
