Assistant Accountant

Looking to step up into an Assistant Accountant role? This is a junior to Intermediate level role | Flexibility with 2 to 3 WFH days per week
About the Company
They are a brand you will instantly recognise. The team is down to earth and friendly, and they are looking for a likeminded Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 12-month contract. The management team are supportive and will give you the opportunity to make the role your own.
About the assignment
Working in a team of around 5 other finance professionals you will be responsible for:
- Bank account reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- Allocation Journals
- Assist with month ends
- Assist with General ledger close
- Assist with GST
- Any other ad hoc tasks
About you
- Intermediate to advance excel skills
- Exposure to month end processes and understand the timelines
- Hunger to learn and desire to develop your skills
- Team player – willingness to support the wider team
