Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role

The Fiscal Reporting team, within the Office of the Government Accountant has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Systems Accountant to join its dynamic and highly skilled team.  We provide financial leadership to the public sector, and in this role, you will assist in the administration of a key IT system that produces the financial statements and forecasts for the Government, ensuring things run smoothly.  You will also be the key contact for users in your role running the helpdesk.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • An understanding of basic SQL and Public Sector experience are both desirable, but not essential.
