Bitumen Sprayer Operator

We’re looking for experienced Bitumen Sprayer Operators to join our team for ongoing, long term work throughout the South Wairarapa region!

The role will be working across a range of civil sites providing operating experience and general civil site knowledge. In this role you will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week and have the flexibility to work additional hours/days during the peak season.

What You'll Do

• Operate bitumen sprayers and other machinery efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, following all relevant regulations, industry best practices, and specifications
• Manage bitumen operations including pre-start checks, heating, blending, storage, and production monitoring
• Assist in plant and machinery maintenance, quality control, and the continuous development of crew skills

What we need from you

• Must hold a clean Class 4 license with WTR, D endorsements, a STMS qualification would be advantageous
• Experience in operating heavy machinery, especially bitumen sprayers
• A thorough understanding of bitumen handling and associated equipment
• Ability to follow plans and schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
• Committed, reliable and flexible
