Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Advisor within the Deputy Chief Executive Office, supporting the Strategy, Engagement & Prevention group. Reporting to the Business Manager - Strategy, Engagement & Prevention, as the Business Advisor, you will be responsible for providing quality business advice to the units you support.
This role provides integral business support to some of our Tier 3 leaders with financial management, business group planning, performance reporting and risk management. This role primarily supports the Manager, DCE Office and Principal Advisor, which will provide the successful applicant an opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and advice for the DCE and the Group. This is a role where you can truly make your mark and gain a wider understanding of how business units are managed at ACC.
You will work alongside a team of Business Advisors where you will share your knowledge and skills and a team of Coordinators to support the wider Strategy, Engagement & Prevention group with administrative and advisory services.

What we're looking for:
Experience in providing written advice and or communication
Proficiency in range of business writing for operational to executive leader audiences
Experience in financial management and/or oversight of financial processes
A high standard of attention to detail
Interest in learning new systems and skills to maximise opportunities for efficiency within the team
Great communication and stakeholder management skills
Flexible, adaptive, and approachable behaviours
Skilled in problem solving, influencing, decision making and negotiation
Interested in developing strategic advice skills and ability to influence decision-making at a senior level.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $95,041 - $105,045 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
