The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the heart of Aotearoa New Zealand's cyber defence. We fulfil the cyber security responsibilities of the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) | Te Tira Tiaki, to detect and disrupt high-impact cyber threats for nationally significant organisations.

The role
The Business Advisor supports the Business Development & Delivery Lead and Directorate, working with leaders and key stakeholders to deliver projects and ensure the Directorate is operating as a cohesive whole.
This is a varied role. While you will have BAU, a majority of the responsibilities in this position is identified through our close working relationships. The Business Advisor position sits in a small, fun and collaborative team who can't wait to meet you!
The appointment range for this position is $87,048 - $92,851.

Who we're looking for
This is a people facing role. As such, the successful candidate will need to be able to comfortably work with people from all backgrounds and at all levels. You will need to:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

You must:
- Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
- Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
- Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
