Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth and pipeline development for a our client who is a high performing interior fit out consultancy that is family owned and operated. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years of experience in business development here in New Zealand, with strong skills in project management and sales, and a proven ability to understand and engage with people effectively.
Objectively we are looking for someone for our client who can spend time working with organisations that are seeking solutions around their real estate footprint to achieve the company's strategic objectives. Working with internal teams across; business development, workplace strategy and design teams, to understand and articulate what is best for the business. Harnessing the stakeholders, including landlords and property partners to ensure there is an outcome that is best suited for the client. This can include consolidation of real estate, increasing size, changing current ways of working resulting in staying in the current location or shifting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Activity; Conduct outbound phone calls/telemarketing and holding quality conversations with prospects and customers.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and meeting business objectives.
- Salesforce Utilization: Leverage Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage leads, and analyze sales performance.
- Pipeline Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive pipeline growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities that align with business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and maximize business outcomes.

Core Skills:
- Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships.
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies to drive growth.
- Proven track record of driving pipeline growth and conversion into sales.
Experience:
- Approximately 5 years of experience in business development or a related field in New Zealand.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects and driving business growth.
