We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager
to join our client’s Auckland team.
We’re seeking a true hunter—not an account manager—someone with a strong network in Auckland, particularly with executives or C-suite contacts.
It is imperative that you have experience selling cloud and/or dev ops to professional services.
This role is pivotal to achieving strategic growth, enhancing brand recognition, and driving revenue and profitability.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience selling (and knowledge of) cloud or DevOps technologies and an ability to communicate their value to clients.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities, converting leads into profitable business.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and RFx responses, collaborating with internal teams, partners, and associates.
- Negotiate contracts in line with company terms.
- Acquire new clients and business opportunities, expanding the company’s portfolio.
- Attend client and partner functions, marketing events, and seminars—occasionally outside standard working hours.
- Maintain open communication with management, consultants, clients, and partners to ensure alignment and success.
