Job Description

If you are a motivated BDM who has driven long-term strategic revenue growth, built strong relationships, and can understand long-term customer goals then this role is for you. Your B2B background will include either software consulting or professional services, and you will have a proven network within the Wellington market. For this you will need to have a growth mindset, be an enabler of people and have the ability to listen and close.

Key tasks required :

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans and pipelines
  • Full sales cycle – including lead generation through to formal contract sign-off
  • Collateral, proposals and pitch materials
  • Ability to gain a deep and true understanding of clients – their needs, goals and objectives
  • Ensure a successful and seamless journey from sales to delivery
  • Continuous improvement through analytics

Key experience required :

  • Strong established networks in technology solution selling – 5+ years
  • True hunter mentality, with resilience and determination to move forward
  • Understanding of technology investments
  • Results focused approach – history of exceeding sales targets
  • Strong background in modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • AI driven solutions
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
