  • We're offering a competitive salary starting from $125,926 to $139,459, depending on experience

Join our dynamic System Leadership group at Oranga Tamariki, where you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of New Zealand's children's system. As part of the Strategy, Insights, and Performance team, you'll lead the way in driving data, insights, and performance strategies that are crucial to informed decision-making and achieving organisational excellence. We are seeking a dynamic Business Integration Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing the integration of our business processes, systems, and data products. In this role, you will be the bridge between the business and Data solutions teams, helping to ensure data needs both now and in the future are understood met using a customer centric approach.  This will be through clear commissioning, Q&A and validations. 

You will also be at the forefront of significant business changes, contributing to the planning and delivery of key data and technology programmes. You'll ensure that our integrations maintain high standards and effectively support our frontline Social Work Services.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring 

Key requirements of the role include:  

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in the field of Business, Management, Information Technology or similar is highly desirable 
  • Ability to develop, maintain and build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Experience in formal project methodology 
  • Experience working on public sector data integration or data related projects is preferred  
  • Experience at developing system integrations for a range of data products 
  • Ability to build effective integrations for a range of data products and solutions 
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate this into the design of system integrations 
  • A strong understanding of data governance and data management principles and ability to incorporate these frameworks into project management and product planning 
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
