Fire and Emergency New Zealand is looking for a motivated, energetic, and organised Business Services Coordinator to join our Te Kei Region team based out of our Headquarters in Dunedin. This role is Fixed Term to cover an internal secondment. The Fixed Term period the role is Full Time, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm until 24th April 2026.
Reporting to the Business Services Manager this role is responsible for delivering a wide range of administrative functions for Regional staff including:
- Invoice processing
- Calendar management and inbox triage
- Minute taking and secretariat tasks.
- Project and event coordination and administration
- General office administration

Have the willingness to work with a diverse range of people across the organisation and have full competency in the MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) – we would like to hear from you.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, is a team player, motivated, flexible and has a proactive outlook towards supporting our stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written for minute taking tasks
- High-level attention to detail
- Proficiency in Office365 applications

The salary range for this role is $59,674 - $66,304, dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
