About the Role

You will be part of a fast-paced team that plays an essential part of maintaining Hillmorton Hospital and The Princess Margaret Hospital facilities.
The team provides exceptional cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts.

Hourly rate starting from $23.75 an hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement

You will be responsible for:

  • Completing all cleaning tasks to a high standard
  • Ensure daily schedules and task lists are completed in set time frames
  • Working alongside other cleaners to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Matching service requirements to the clinical needs
  • Maintenance of equipment and operated according to specifications
  • Utilise the correct chemicals and dilutions 

About you

Skills and Experience

We are looking for  reliable, hardworking and flexible candidates who are able to bring their passion for cleaning to our facilities. Theses roles will suit candidates that are looking to help make the hospital a hygienic and safe space for our patients and Whanau.

  • High level of patient confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health is preferred but not essential.
