About the Role
HT requires staff with the above skills and abilities to be available for casual Duty Nurse Manager shifts. The Duty Nurse Manager role is to provide after-hours operational management and clinical support of all inpatient and support areas of the Gisborne Hospital campus.

About you
Are you:
- an excellent communicator,
- familiar with HT systems and processes and up to date clinically?
- an experienced Senior Registered Nurse with current APC
- able to think on their feet and problem-solve
- able to provide excellent clinical backup in various wards and departments?
- Able to demonstrate professional nursing leadership
- have capacity in your current FTE to contribute on a casual basis to the DNM team
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth (mandatory)
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings. (mandatory)
