- This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours or days. In this role you will be covering sick (on call) and annual leave.
- Starting rate $23.75 per hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement, with Time and a half on weekends! and double time on Public Holidays!

About the Role
Our kitchen team are responsible for creating highest standard Caf Food for our staff, patients and visitors. Following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of while maintaining clean and tidy working areas. A large part of this role is customer focused so you will need strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.
Training will be provided.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting our cooks with preparing and presenting food
- Delivering meals to our patients across the hospital
- Ensure that your workspace is clean and tidy
About you
- Skilled kitchen assistant with experience within a similar environment would be ideal
- Excellent customer service & food preparation skills
- We are looking for someone with the following traits
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work autonomously as well
- Physically fit and reliable
- Strong time management skills
