The Opportunity
As a Chef de Partie you are an integral part of the kitchen team and you'll work along side a talented and experienced senior team who will provide you with mentorship and guidance day in and day out. Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of your own section
- Leading the kitchen team in the absence of the Head and/or Sous Chef
- Maintaining high standards of food prep by following company recipes
- Having input into daily/weekly meal specials
- Maintaining a clean workplace & following health & safety procedures
The who
You'll come with a strong work ethic and desire to grow in your career as well as a proven track record of being reliable and working well as part of a team. We're also looking for candidates who:
- Have at least 2 years' experience in a busy commercial kitchen
- Are available across a 7 day roster from 6am until late - predominantly afternoon/evening shifts
- Have strong knife skills
- Communicate clearly & effectively
- Take pride in their appearance and uniform
