As a Civil Design Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our projects, leading the design process from conception to completion. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of complex civil engineering projects. Whether it’s coordinating with project teams, liaising with clients, or overseeing design development, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for heavy civil projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Work closely with a team of talented engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the design phase.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
- Oversee the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality within the design process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in civil design management, preferably within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of project delivery
