Civil Engineer

My client is a national leader in Civil Engineering and Land Development with decades of knowledge and experience. They are looking to expand the team in Hamilton by bringing in a Senior Civil Engineer.

The successful candidate will be managing their own projects as well as taking care of the design, tendering, construction and practical completion of the entire project life-cycle. You will also be helping guide and lead the junior members of staff.

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary education
• 3+ years of experience - a bare minimum of 2 years for a New Zealand-based consultancy
• Strong Civil3D or 12D design skills (Civil3D preferred)
• Experience running a project start to finish
• Ability to clearly communicate with clients and contractors
• Previous experience mentoring junior staff desired, but not essential
