Seeking a Project Manager looking for their next career step, working with an entrepreneurial main contractor on drainage/three water projects.
&Our client is looking for a PM looking to take their next step, and into a Senior Project Manager role. They have a lot of work, predominantly with local government in the Waikato, in the civil drainage space and on three water projects. They have well established crews and decent machinery on site, with a pipeline of work that is extremely strong given the current market.
About the role:
As the key Project Manager on most projects, your role will include scoping, coordinating, planning, and executing the delivery of a range of projects. You will be responsible for full cost management including budgeting, cost control and forecasting. You will be able to manage stakeholder relationships fluidly and with skill, juggling many things at once while retaining a cool, calm and collected demeanor.
Your main responsibility will be delivering projects on time and on budget, so if you have demonstrated ability in executing projects ahead of schedule and within the budget, we'd love to hear from you.
About you:
- Bachelor Degree in Project/Construction Management OR Civil Engineering OR working up from the tools to a Project Manager role
- 2 - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability in the delivery of successful projects, on time and on budget
- Excellent presentation, encompassing oral and written ability
- Worked on New Zealand projects with a portfolio that reflects your skillset
- Natural leader with superb time management and organisational skills
- Understand the importance of OH&S and adhere to strict safety on site
- Able to communicate with key stakeholders and hold the attention of a room
