We are currently recruiting for a permanent opportunity for a large client in the glass industry transport made to order glass nation wide
Summary:
This is a key role in having made to order glass transported from Hamilton to various sites in the North Island. The client is after someone who's familiar with large Class two trucks and want to further there career with a growing business.
About the role:
The client is searching for a candidate who has a positive attitude and able to handle the responsibilities of ensuring that products are delivered on time to their clients. The role currently has shift variations starting from 0630. Each driver will also need to be physically fit to assist with loading the glass into the truck when required.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering custom ordered Glass
- Unloading / loading processes in Hamilton and at client drop offs
- Follow scheduling and loading plans
- Following safe practices and processes
Skills and experience:
- Positive attitude
- Great communication skills
- Class 2 licence
- Physically fit to handle lifting while loading
- Class 2 experience
- Work with glass previously (not essential)
