Class 5 Driver - Monday to Saturday Shift

Lowie is looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver ready to take the next step in their career. We have an ongoing temp assignment in Tauranga for skilled drivers who meet the qualifications. If you value safety, professionalism, and growth, we'd love for you to apply!

• Paid weekly, $33 per hour
• Monday - Saturday: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Our consultants go above and beyond to be fair, lead you to success, care for your well-being and prioritise your safety.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating a truck and trailer or B-train with safe and efficient handling, including reversing
• Transporting paper products, with routes including Kawerau to Tauriko and sometimes to the HLZ depot
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Completing daily checks and adhering to safety protocols
• Attending a driving assessment in Hamilton as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
• A current Forklift Certificate with practical experience
• Proven experience in operating a truck and trailer/B-train, including reversing
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Applicants must be willing to provide a Ministry of Justice criminal history check, attend and pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen, and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
