Class 5 Linehaul Driver

Help keep the region moving! We need Class 5 linehaul swap drivers across the Wellington region for full-time, ongoing work with plenty of hours.

• $30 - $40 pay rate based on experience
• Consistent work and solid hours available
• Civil and Transport driving available

If you have your class 5 drivers’ licence, and have experience with manual, automatic, and road ranger transmissions, then we have opportunities for you! We can get you started ASAP with some of NZ’s largest contractors and transport companies with the opportunity to join their ranks.

We have a variety of work available across several industries experiencing considerable growth. Your duties will consist of driving a range of trucks between sites making deliveries, transporting materials, machinery, liquids, general freight, and sometimes hazardous substances.

What we need from you:

• Commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Class 5 licence and experience driving class 5 trucks long-haul
• Dangerous Goods on your driver’s license is a bonus
• Understanding of the mechanics and maintenance of you truck
• Knowledge of how to secure loads using load binders, chains, and strops
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazardous conditions
• Experience accurately completing logbooks and measuring / weighing loads
