About the Role
We are seeking a permanent Booking Clerk and Receptionist Reliever to join our team within the Outpatient Clinics, Meade Clinical Centre.
The role is essential in assisting with the smooth running of the Outpatient Clinics across several different specialities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Communicating with staff, patients and their families
- Organising, preparing and distributing patient records and other documentation
- Maintaining accurate computer records of patient attendance at clinic
- Booking appointments for patients
- Informing patients of requirements for procedures

MCC Outpatient Clinic is a busy, fast paced environment providing support to may different specialties
About you
The successful applicant will need:
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Strong customer service focus
- Proven and demonstrated experience in an administration role and computer skills
- To be innovative and flexible with excellent time management and organisational skills
- To be flexible with working hours. Earliest start time is 7.30am, latest finish time is 5.00pm.
- Previous experience in healthcare and iPM would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
