About the role
The Clinical Co-ordinator will be a registered health professional with a current New Zealand APC with a desire and ability to lead community allied health team. This role is based ta Wakari hospital and works with community teams including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Language Therapy and Dietetics.
The Clinical Co-ordinator will:
- provide the professional direction, leadership and day to day management
- provide co-ordination and allocation of staff to patients based on clinical requirements and skill mix of the clinical team
- ensure patient and staff safety and best practice is a priority.

About you
This is a demanding and challenging role where the successful applicant will demonstrate sound professional judgement, strong leadership skills and a clear commitment to high quality care and the development of the Service. Key to your success in this position will be your ability to lead effective teams. The successful candidate will have experience working in in-patient and community settings and be able to demonstrate good clinical decision making, be able to think outside the square and have excellent communication and engagement skills.
You will provide efficient, effective and quality leadership to an inter-professional team who will be strongly focused on providing high quality, safe patient care.

Salary range
This role offers a salary of $111,240 - $117,420 (pro-rata), covered by the Allied, Public Health, and Technical Employer Collective Agreement.
